Race Options
The Santa Run Silicon Valley offers a 5K run/walk or a Kids Reindeer dash. Both events are offered in person and virtually. All 5k participants will receive our holiday-themed long sleeve tech shirt, ornament-style finisher medal, and race bib with timing chip. Kids Reindeer Dash participants will receive a festive short-sleeved race t-shirt, an ornament-style finisher medal, and a race bib.
We encourage you to dress up as your favorite holiday character or tradition: Santa or Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, reindeer, elves, a dreidel or menorah, candlesticks, solstice masks, ornaments, or a whole tree…The ideas are limitless, so get creative!
Timeline
The 2024 Santa Run Silicon Valley will take place on Sunday, December 15.
RACE DAY TIMELINE
- 6:30 am – Bib & shirt pickup and gear check begins at San Jose Chamber of Commerce (101 West Santa Clara St)
- 7:15 am – Costume contest judging at start line (189 West Santa Clara St)
- 8:00 am – 5K Start time
- 9:30 am – Kids Reindeer Dash starts at the finish line (125 South Market St)
- 10:00 am – Kids run ends
- 10:15 am – Bib & shirt pickup and gear check closes
- 10:30 am – Event concludes

Virtual Run
Grab your family & friends and run your Virtual Santa Run in your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or on your favorite trail anytime from December 15 through December 22! You have a week to complete your 5K and you can utilize our RaceJoy run tracking app for automatic result upload, or manually upload your results here.
