Join us for the Santa Run Silicon Valley, benefiting Christmas in the Park and Downtown Ice. This 5K Run/Walk is fun for the whole family and we encourage you to dress up as your favorite holiday character or tradition. The race course winds through downtown San Jose and concludes at Christmas in the Park, where you can enjoy the festivities with Santa’s milk and cookies!

  • Dash distance categories – ages 2-3 (75 yards) , ages 4-5 year (250 yards) and ages 6-7 (250 yards).
  • Location:  At the Starting Line at Santa Clara Street at Almaden Boulevard
  • Line-Up at 2:00 pm
  • Look for the Line-Up pens for respective age groups
  • Kids must be a paid registrant to participate and space is limited
  • Kids will receive an event shirt

POST EVENT FOOD AND DRINK

  • Be sure to patronize the abundant restaurants and establishments after your jolly fun.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Strollers and baby joggers are allowed but please stage at the end of the start for safety reasons
  • Only certified service animals are allowed on the course – please no other pets
  • Kids in strollers or joggers do not have to be registered.  Participants that are walking or running on the course need to be registered.
  • Special prize for the fastest male and femlae in a Santa costume (Must be wearing a Santa pant, jacket, hat, and beard).

HOW

Participate by registering, volunteering or donating to the event. If you are registering, we encourage you to wear your Santa costume. We hope in a few years to be the largest run with Santas in costume. This year we have raised the cap to 5,000 participants. Join us!
